Join the HK Phil at the Central Harbourfront on 18 November 2023 for an unmissable evening of film and theatre music at Swire Symphony under the Stars! This popular music extravaganza will feature the talents of HK Phil Resident Conductor Lio Kuokman – performing as both conductor and piano soloist – alongside Principal Cello Richard Bamping, distinguished sopranos Louise Kwong and Vivian Yau, renowned arts educators and vocalists Crisel Consunji and Roy Rolloda, and TV presenter Heidi Chu. Together, they will transport you to the captivating worlds created by legendary composers John Williams, Leonard Bernstein, and George Gershwin, as well as nostalgic moments from Hong Kong films. This delightful evening under the stars will culminate in a breathtaking fireworks finale.  

 

You can also watch this riveting evening at home, together with friends and family, in Hong Kong and beyond! This outdoor concert will be live streamed on the HK PhilSwire TrustTomorrow and Swire Pacific Facebook pages, HK Phil website and YouTube channel, RTHK website, and together with a TV live broadcast on RTHK TV 32.
 
The concert runs approximately 90 minutes with an intermission.

Notes for Admission
  1. Each ticket with a unique QR code only allows ONE ENTRY PER SCAN, regardless of age. Duplicated tickets will not be accepted
  2. Please show the QR code on your smartphone or printed ticket for admission. Do not fold or draw across the QR code. Non-readable QR code will prevent your admission to the event
  3. Anyone who is found to be in possession of any forbidden items, such as glassware, or does not follow the rules of the venue will be refused entry to the event. Please CLICK HERE for details
  4. In case of bad weather, the HK Phil will announce postponement at 4pm through the HK Phil website hkphil.org and Facebook page. The event will be postponed to the next day, i.e. 19 November, same time and same venue
  5. The event organiser reserves the right to change the advertised artists and programme, seating arrangements and audience capacity
  6. Some seating areas may have restricted sightlines
  7. If anyone found to violate the house rule, notice issued or lawful instruction given by the staff, the Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to the Event or to eject the Participant 
 
Warm Reminder
    1. Parking spaces are not available at the venue. We recommend using public transport such as the MTR, Ferry, etc

    2. You may visit the HK Phil Merchandise Counter near Gate 1 to purchase our 50th Anniversary merchandise

    3. For environmental reasons, no mats will be distributed. Please bring your own mat, food and drinks to enjoy the starry night

    1. “Swire Symphony Under The Stars” Tickets Ballot (“Ballot”) is organised by The Hong Kong Philharmonic Society Limited (“HK Phil”). The registration period starts from 12nn on 26 Oct 2023 to 7pm on 30 Oct 2023 (Hong Kong time), both dates inclusive (“Registration Period”)
    2. Each person will be eligible to register for just one ballot, and the system will only process the latest registered record if there is any duplication; all previous records will be voided
    3. The ballot result will be publicised on 2 NOV 2023 on HK Phil and Cityline websites and published in the Hong Kong Economic Journal (HKEJ) and The Standard on the same date
    4. The Ballot Tickets cannot be refunded, transferred/resold, or exchanged for cash and is not replaceable. In the event of any loss, invalidity, or expiry, the Tickets will not be re-issued
    5. If for any reason Ballot is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, trojan horses, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of HK Phil that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of Ballot, HK Phil reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process without prior notice
    6. Please note that it is entirely voluntary for Eligible Participant to participate in this Ballot. Upon obtaining consent from participants, the personal data will be used for other direct marketing purposes. By submitting this form, you confirm your understanding of and agreement to (i) Privacy Notice of HK Phil; (ii) Personal Information Collection Statement of HK Phil; (iii) HK Phil will use your personal data for Ballot prize notification and redemption; and (iv) all the Terms & Conditions of this Ballot
