Four decades ago the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) started its journey as a home-grown professional orchestra. Over the years, the HK Phil has played an ever-expanding repertory, collaborated with globally-renowned artists, and toured extensively around the world, and has grown into an orchestra that shines under the international spotlight. In 2019 the HK Phil became the first orchestra in Asia to receive the prestigious Gramophone Orchestra of the Year Award, under the leadership of Music Director Maestro Jaap van Zweden, SBS. Thank you for being with us all along.

The HK Phil is a non-profit arts organisation that relies on support from corporations and individuals to meet the costs of running an annual schedule of classical concerts, as well as a wide range of education and community programmes. Each donation means enriching our community with cultural vibrancy, advocating art development, and bringing the finest classical music experience to Hong Kong and beyond.
