Presented by
Programme
The HK Phil first stepped foot on South Korean soil in 1986. In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the orchestra presents Sibelius’ Violin Concerto with Korean violinist Inmo Yang, double champion at the Paganini and Sibelius competitions. Our principals and players impress the Korean audience with their passion and virtuosity in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio espagnol and Dvořák’s Ninth Symphony, From the New World, under the baton of Spanish conductor Roberto González-Monjas.
