Christine Wong
A native of Hong Kong, violinist Christine Wong has won numerous awards, including the Wurlitzer New York State Violin Competition, Mannes String Concerto Competition and All China Violin Competition. As recipient of the Special Presentation and Outstanding Alumni Award of the Artists International (USA), she gave her debut recital in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall in 1997.
Christine received the Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship to pursue her studies with Aaron Rosand in New York. After completing the Certificate Programme at the Mannes College of Music (preparatory division), she was accepted by The Juilliard School, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Violin Performance. She was the first winner of the prestigious Sony E. S. Award for Musical Excellence.
