Due to a short-term medical condition, Alexandre Desplat has unfortunately had to withdraw from “The Oscar Maestro: Alexandre Desplat” concerts on 4 & 5 January 2019. Hence, the concerts will be cancelled.

Music plays a crucial role in setting the atmosphere in movies and in reinforcing dramatic moments. Oscar-winning composer Alexandre Desplat has composed original scores for over 170 films, including Argo, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Lust, Caution, and The Imitation Game. Following on from the success of The Grand Budapest Hotel, his score for The Shape of Water earned him his second Oscar and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award. He will conduct his signature works transporting us to the touching moments in the films.
