Stunning visually as well as aurally, Gomyo is certainly an act not to be missed when she brings her “honest and soulful” account of Mendelssohn’s fabulous Violin Concerto to the Hong Kong stage. Add to this a charismatic German conductor, Andreas Delfs, and two great orchestral pieces by two great German composers – Robert Schumann and Richard Strauss – and you are assured a concert of unforgettable glories.
