Two Russian masters join forces for these two monumental Russian works. Vassily Sinaisky has been described as “one of a great line of Russian conductors”, while Boris Giltburg’s recording of the Rachmaninov Concerto was praised by Gramophone magazine as “a vividly imaginative re-creation of a score that lives and breathes with irresistible vitality”.
