The “Pastorale” is one of Beethoven’s most popular and well-loved symphonies, with its marvellous depiction of life in the countryside tinged with humour, affection and great charm. These are qualities also to be found in the Triple Concerto, where three musical friends join with the HK Phil and Maestro Jaap van Zweden to celebrate the joy of collective music making.
