Pixar In Concert
Toy Story, Cars, UP, A Bug’s Life, Brave, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Wall-E. What do all these fabulous movies have in common? The answer is Pixar, one of the most inventive and distinctive animation companies in the history of cinema. From the dancing angle-poise lamp to the spoof out-takes, every Pixar movie is a visual feast. But they are also aural feasts, and here’s a chance to celebrate the great music that adds so much to these movies. So come and enjoy the on-screen antics of Woody, Lightning McQueen, Flik, King Fergus and their friends while the HK Phil brings the marvellous musical scores by Randy Newman, Patrick Doyle, Thomas Newman and Michael Giacchino to life.
