In view of uncertainties relating to such matters as global travel and in-bound quarantine measures during the pandemic, along with discussions with our artists and related partners, the advertised performance of "Organ & Brass" at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall on 8 June 2021 has been cancelled.


For 2020/21 Subscribers who have subscribed to the performance of "Organ & Brass", the refund arrangement will be handled via BANK TRANSFER, and will be processed at one go after your last subscribed concert. This refund at-one-go arrangement is intended to simplify the refund procedure to individual patrons and minimise the inconvenience caused by ticket refunds.

Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (23 April 2021)

 

 

Programme to include works by J.S. Bach, Giovanni Gabrieli and Richard Strauss.

 

One of the largest instruments in Asia, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre’s 8,000-pipe Rieger organ will take centre stage in this concert featuring charismatic German organist Christian Schmitt. HK Phil brass players will join Christian in majestic selections for organ and brass. From solo organ pieces by Bach to large brass ensemble works, this programme is sure to delight both organ and brass fans alike!
