Japanese pianist, Nobuyuki Tsujii, has been making waves in the musical world ever since tying for the Gold Medal in the 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition at which Van Cliburn himself described Tsujii as “absolutely miraculous. His performance had the power of a healing service”. He will exert his miraculous powers in Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto, while the HK Phil continues its Beethoven celebrations with the fourth symphony, a work which concludes with what has been described as “the most exuberant and energetic piece of orchestral music Beethoven ever wrote”.
A maximum of 2 tickets can be purchased on the first day of ticket sale.
