In view of the latest situation of COVID-19, and uncertainties relating to such matters as global travel and in-bound quarantine measures, the advertised performances of “JAAP’s Beethoven 9" at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall on 2 & 3 October 2020, 8pm, have been cancelled.

 

2020/21 subscribers will receive an email from our Subscription Office on or before 4 September 2020 (Friday). The email indicates your subscription details, and relevant options for your ticket(s) to the cancelled concert(s). Continuing our Beethoven 250th celebrations, we reach his iconic masterpiece. Maestro Jaap van Zweden and the HK Phil are joined by an international cast of soloists and choirs for this performance of the Symphony no. 9, with its climactic call for peace and joy among all people. The concert opens with the dramatic Leonore Overture no. 2.
