Hong Kong Ballet and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra present an evening celebrating the best of music and ballet with a unique cadre of international talent. The work that made Wayne McGregor an international sensation, Chroma, winning McGregor the coveted Laurence Olivier Award for best new dance production in 2007 and is considered one of the most influential works of the 21st century. The Year of the Rabbit is Justin Peck’s joyful and imaginative work set to a live orchestral adaptation of Sufjan Stevens’s Chinese astrology-inspired electronic score. This remarkable evening will be rounded off with a third exciting piece, a new production of The Rite of Spring commissioned from Hong Kong Ballet choreographers, Yuh Egami and Ricky Hu Song-wei. You will be on the edge of your seat for this world premiere!
