We continue to celebrate the 45th season of the HK Phil with the return of David Atherton conducting masterpieces by his native British composers: Tippett, Britten and Holst. He is joined by Grammy-winning and phenomenal violin talent Augustin Hadelich in Britten’s Violin Concerto, one of the major violin concertos of the post-war years. The HK Phil showcases the orchestral colour in The Planets, the seven-movement suite, to the full - from serene to epic.
