Wagner’s epic Götterdämmerung Suite condenses the Ring Cycle’s grandest episodes, along the way showcasing the iconic “Siegfried’s Funeral March”. Richard Strauss’ Ein Heldenleben masterfully utilises an expanded orchestra to capture the composer’s entire life in a tone poem.
