Case Scaglione brings an intriguing programme to Swire Denim Series, starting with stately baroque dances and taking us on a journey to the 20th century. Ligeti’s Violin Concerto is counted one of the most adventurous modern pieces, but its heart is Baroque. To lead us into this sound world, Case has devised a classic Denim adventure!
The "Swire Denim" concerts are perfect for busy urbanites! Slightly over one hour of light classical music. No interval. Post-concert party with our musicians in Deli & Wine. Party tickets are sold in the foyer at our concert at $80, first-come, first-served. Let our music jolt your weekend into high gear!
PROGRAMME CHANGE
Rebel’s Les Elements: Chaos, the piece originally scheduled to open the concert, will not be performed due to issues with the orchestral edition of the work. The other pieces on the programme remain unchanged. The concert will now open with the Bach Concerto no. 5.
