The Hong Kong Philharmonic (HK Phil) is one of Asia’s leading orchestras, with a busy annual season of concerts and community-engagement activities. In 2024/25, the HK Phil has reached the 51st season of our musical journey. This season, we are presenting 30 programmes with internationally renowned conductors and soloists.
The HK Phil is currently welcoming applications for summer internship placement from June to August 2025. This is a great opportunity for university students to gain practical experience in different aspects of a professional orchestra.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide administrative support to the daily operations of the attached department;
- To participate and work in projects related to marketing, subscription, concert promotion, orchestral operations, event preparation, research, and database management, etc.;
- To work and attend concerts and events, including those outside of office hours, as and when assigned.
Attributes:
- Currently pursuing a degree in arts, music, cultural management, or a related discipline;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- A highly motivated team player with strong communication skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Passionate about the arts and some knowledge of classical music is preferred;
