HK Phil 50th Anniversary Publication

To celebrate its golden jubilee, the HK Phil invited former colleague Mr Jimmy Shiu as the writer of our 50th anniversary publication. The HK Phil’s history can be traced back to the Sino-British Orchestra established in 1947. From the amateur days to the professional era starting from 1974, there have been countless precious collective memories for generations of musicians and music fans.

Jimmy joined the HK Phil as Audience Development Manager in the late 1980s.

The book talk will be hosted by HK Phil’s Director of Marketing Dennis Wu. The event will be conducted in Cantonese.
