Robert Smith

Robert has been a member of the HK Phil since 2015. He has also performed with a number of notable orchestras in concert halls around the world including the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, CBSO, Philharmonia Orchestra, European Union Youth Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, and has had trials with the Orchestra of the Scottish Opera and the London Symphony Orchestra. He graduated with a First Class Honours degree from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he received the Leverhulme and Elton John full scholarships. During his studies, he was taught by renowned orchestral and solo performers including James Watson, Rod Franks, Mark David, Paul Beniston, Robert Farley, Howard Snell and John Hutchins.
