In view of the latest situation of COVID-19, performance venues under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department have been temporarily closed until further notice. Along with the uncertainties relating to the pandemic and travel restrictions, the advertised performances of "Swire Maestro Series: Three Concertos with Jaap", originally scheduled for 29 & 30 January 2021 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall, have been cancelled.

 

For 2020/21 Subscribers who have subscribed to the performances of "Swire Maestro Series: Three Concertos with Jaap", please refer to the email directly sent to your registered address in early January 2021 for the refund arrangements.

Concertos for one and two instruments, as well as for the full orchestra all in one concert! The legendary Rudolf Buchbinder performs Ravel’s sparkling Piano Concerto, while HK Phil Concertmaster Jing Wang and Principal Cello Richard Bamping present the world premiere of Wong Chun-wai’s Double Concerto. The musicians of every section of the HK Phil shine in Bartók’s iconic Concerto for Orchestra.
