The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra is honoured to present The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Hong Kong Composers Scheme. This scheme provides a platform for emerging composers to deepen their experience of orchestral writing.

 

New works by six selected composers will be performed by the HK Phil. This feast of contemporary music opens with the work of commentator Charlotte Bray. Come and hear each composer’s musical discourse!

 

The Showcase will be livestreamed online on the HK Phil website, Facebook page and YouTube channel, showcasing local talents to a worldwide audience.

 

Showcase will start at around 8:30 and is approx. 1 hour.

The Public Working Sessions will be livestreamed on the HK Phil website and Zoom webinar.

Please stay tuned for registration details. 

Session I's duration is approx. 2 hours and 30 mins (including one intermission).
Session II's duration is approx. 1 hour. 

 

The Public Working Sessions and Showcase will be conducted in English.
