The sensational Simon Trpčeski’s performances grow more dazzling and profound with each performance in Hong Kong. His mighty Rachmaninov concertos continue to be a highlight of our season, but in September comes the chance to hear him in intimate recital mode. Trpčeski celebrates the 200th anniversary of Franz Liszt, perhaps the greatest piano genius of all time, with a program of romantic rhapsody. Chopin’s nocturnes have been called graceful, dramatic, commanding – qualities equally to be found in this soloist. And to this program he also brings something new – the Asian premiere of Pande Shahov’s Songs and Whispers.
