We close our season with two dazzling masterpieces by Stravinsky – suite from The Firebird, the revolutionary ballet which propelled him to fame, and Song of the Nightingale, based on western visions of exotic China’s imperial court. Conductor Jun Märkl is joined by dazzling virtuoso Arabella Steinbacher in Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.
