Spain’s fiery passion has kindled some of the most colourful music of all time. Whether on the operatic stage, in the Russian orchestral hall, or at the Parisian theatre, Spain has the power to stir the imagination with powerful rhythms and languid melody. Portuguese conductor Joana Carneiro explores a programme of this great music. The HK Phil is proud to present guitar firebrand Miloš Karadaglić, playing the best loved of all guitar concertos – Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez.
