Prior to embarking on a tour to the Mainland, Long Yu leads the HK Phil in Dvořák’s From the New World symphony. Renowned Chinses cellist Jian Wang performs Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations, and the concert will be opened by young violin wunderkind Paloma So with a rendition of Butterfly Lovers.
The concert runs approximately 1 hour 45 minutes with an intermission.
