MOZARTPiano Concerto no.21
SHOSTAKOVICHSymphony no. 7, Leningrad

Jaap and the HK Phil prepare for their grand European tour with this powerful programme. In her HK Phil debut, virtuoso German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott dazzles you with a Mozart piano concerto. Shostakovich composed his epic Seventh Symphony, which is named Leningrad – after the city where it premiered while under siege by the Germans in World War II.
