Concert Cancellation

In view of the latest situation of COVID-19, performance venues under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department have been temporarily closed from 10 December 2020 until further notice. Hence, the advertised performances of "Christmas Fantasia", originally scheduled for 23 & 24 December 2020 (Wed & Thu) at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall, have been cancelled.

Refund Arrangement for Ticket Purchase through URBTIX

Owing to uncertainties over the reopening of the performance venues, cash refunds will not now be possible through the relevant box offices. Thank you for your understanding.

To facilitate ticket refunds, ticket holders who purchased through URBTIX (including those purchased at URBTIX outlets, internet, mobile app or telephone bookings) may apply for a FULL refund of the face value of the ticket(s) by BANK TRANSFER on or before 28 February 2021.

This option is only applicable for patrons with local bank savings or current accounts. Debit/credit card accounts and time deposit accounts are NOT accepted.

Apollo Wong conducts the HK Phil in a joyful Christmas Fantasia programme. Also a renowned bass, Apollo will captivate you with Mozart and Handel arias, while pianist Rachel Cheung will melt your heart with a beautiful Chopin polonaise. Join the orchestra and HK Phil’s favourite magician Harry Gor Gor for a magical Christmas concert full of fun and surprises, including best-loved selections from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker.

This concert runs an hour approximately, without an intermission.

Change of Programme & Artists

In view of the latest situation of COVID-19, changes were made to the programme and artists of “Christmas Fantasia”. The Hong Kong Philharmonic Chorus and The Hong Kong Children's Choir have had to withdraw from the advertised performances due to change of repertoire.

Temperature check is arranged at designated entrances
Please come within 15 minutes of the admission time

Always keep social distancing
Your seat may be adjusted to meet the requirements of preventive measures.
Persons with symptoms of illness and people who have been in contact with COVID-19 patients within the last 14 days may not attend the performance
