Don’t miss Zee Zee’s brilliant interpretation of Liszt’s Piano Concerto no. 1 – a masterpiece which was composed over a 26-year period! Hailed as "powerful, passionate and compelling pure artistry" (Los Angeles Times), Zee Zee recently recorded this work for Deutsche Grammophon. Also nearly 20 years in the making, Brahms Symphony no. 1 was memorably tagged "Beethoven’s Tenth" at its premiere, and is still considered one the greatest symphonies, masterfully conducted on this concert by the rising Austrian conductor Christoph Koncz.
The concert runs approximately an hour without an intermission.
