Zuo Zhang

Born in China, Zhang started to learn the piano at the age of 5 in Germany. She returned to China in 1995 and continued her piano studies under the tutelage of Professor Dan Zhao Yi. In 2006, she was awarded a full scholarship to continue her study at the coveted Eastman School of Music. Zhang Zuo has won many competitions and performances in China and abroad including the first prize in the American Gina Bachauer International Young Artists Piano Competition, the Ukraine Krainev International Piano Competition for young pianists and the first prize at the 1st International Piano Concerto Competition in China last year.
