Dr Robert Ellis-Geiger
Dr Robert Ellis-Geiger is a film composer and associate professor of practice at the Academy of Film, School of Communications, Hong Kong Baptist University, where he delivers a diverse range of courses ranging from sound design for animation and film, through to music production for cinema.

Dr Ellis-Geiger is a multi-award nominee: twice at the Golden Bauhinia Film Awards for Best Music Score for Election 2 (2006) (以和為貴) directed by Johnnie To and This Our Exile (2006) (父子) directed by Patrick Tam and at Cinéma du Réel 2017 for Best Music Score for the Mainland China feature length documentary film, We the Workers (2017) directed by Wen Ha. Dr Ellis-Geiger also composed the music for Oscar award winner Ruby Yang’s documentaries My Voice My Life (2014) and My Voice My Life Revisited (2020).
