Karen Chan

Ms. Chan holds a double degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Washington University, a Masters in Education from the New York University and a Masters of Science in Marketing from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Ms. Chan is responsible for overall business and corporate development which includes brand management and marketing strategies for German Pool Group Company, Ltd.  Aside from her business obligations she has also actively taken an interest in social duties.  She is currently a member of the Communications and Creative Industries of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, the General Committee of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Vice President of the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council, the Chairman of the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association, members of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Executive Committee and the Hong Kong Baptist University Foundation Young Entrepreneur Committee.

Ms. Chan's enthusiasm and achievements regarding industrial development has gained recognition across the field.  In 2009, Ms. Chan received FHKI’s Young Industrialist Award.  In 2013, she received the Young Women Innovator Award by APEC, Ten Outstanding Youth Persons in 2014, the Outstanding Women Professionals and Entrepreneurs Award in 2017.  In the same year, she was appointed Justice of the Peace by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.  In 2018, she was awarded as Adjunct Professor by the School of Business of Hong Kong Baptist University, and was awarded the GBA Outstanding Women Entrepreneur Awards.
